There are three things that come to mind:

A) If you would like to try your hand at running your own business and know what you’d like to do for money, look into an organization called Junior Achievement. Their web site is http://www.ja.org. Junior Achievement is a well-known and well-respected organization that works with young people of all ages.

B) If you want to open and run your own business but unsure of what you can do, check out one or several of the following books from your local library. Your Librarian may have access to other titles as well as these:

Fast Cash for Kids … Bonnie & Noel Drew
Better than a Lemonade Stand … Daryl Bernstein
50 Money Making Ideas for Kids … Lauree & L Allen Burkett
Jobs for Kids … Carol Barkin & Elizabeth James
The Kids’ Business Book … Arlene Erlbach
Making Cents … Elizabeth Wilkinson
Make More Money Than Your Parents … Mike Bundlie and Others

C) When you are of legal age (15?) to work in your community, go to your school’s counseling department and ask about getting a work permit and see if the school has a job placement board of employers looking to hire teens. If they don’t have one, ask how you can start one.

Don’t wait for your ship to come in … Swim out to meet it!

Well you could always ask your parents for a raise in allowence (if u have allowence), in order to get them to raise it do some more stuff around the house. Also, if you don't have an allowence try to arrange one.
Also try:

Babysitting, if you put a flyer out in your nieghborhood with also a friends name, and put it in the people u KNOW have kids (don't put the flyer in anyone who is suspicious or doesn't have kids, cuz there's weirdos out there) when i was 12, i go 7 jobs from that and in the summer i made about 150 a week (i'm not even exagerating)

try this for a flyer

Hi my name is ________ I'm 12 years old, i go to _____________ school. I'm certified through (w.e organization trained you) I love entertaining and watching kids, i know how to feed, bathe, ur child, i'm comfortable watching (however many kids you're comfortable watching alone) otherwise, i'll work with my friend_________

something allong those lines, u'd obviously have to add more but, hopefully you get rich!

you could also make up a flyer to

mow lawns
rake leaves
snow shovel drive ways
walk dogs
(anything like that)

Maybe go help out grandparents they might give you some money

u could also try to sell things you make like necklaces, or sell old clothes, cds,or toys online that you don't play with.
(u could also hold a rummage sale for all ur stuff)

Well some ideas are babysit, mow lawns, rake, walk dogs, watch peopke's houses while their away, take care of pets while neighbors are away etc. Also look for spare change lying around. Saving up coins adds up to a lot. You could also wait until your birthday comes around instead of saving up all that money. It would also be cheaoer if you bought a DS at Wal-mart or a BJ's because their prices are cheaper. I hope you have good luck!

You can offer to mow lawns, rake leaves, clean houses, and so many other things. I did all of those when I was 12--and made great money. Put your name out there!

Be a mother's helper. Pet Sitting. If you can get a good pet sitting job you get paid pretty well, I know I made like $60 a week about 10 years ago.

Lawn mowing.
Mow enough to buy another mower and hire another kid to do some of the mowing. End up with a work crew.

Don't try lawn mowing or that crap, child labor is against the law.Do chores with your parents and convince them to give you allowance for your work.
