Can anyone give me some tips on growing lucky bamboo. I bought some a while back and it has started to wither.

Plant it in soil in a self draining pot. My bamboo has never looked better since I removed it from the water. It doesn't require any special care in the soil and grows at about the same rate. Plant it in regular potting soil and water only when the soil starts to really dry out. Keep it in bright indirect light as well. I fertilize mine once every few months or so. Mine is now a deep emerald green color instead of that unhealthy washed out green it used to be. Your bamboo will appreciate it. Good Luck!!!

You might try distilled water for watering it if the water you have it in might possibly have a lot of rust or minerals in it.......Mine was withering and when I changed the water it was in to distilled water, it perked up....Also, mine gets testy if it gets too much direct light....

Its probably not getting enough sun. Even though they dont take alot of sun they do need some. Mine was doing that so I put it in a kind of sunny place.

lots of water and lots of light. No direct sun, as it will burn leaves. make sure you use fresh water, as it will have lots of nutrients in it.
