Ok I asked about hte recovery earlier.....and welcome any suggestions on that.....but after reading a few other related questions.........many say eating soft, cool foods (ie. ice cream and jello) while others suggest hard cruncy foods to get the "scabs" off........which is right? I have surgery in the morning.......

oh god dont eat crunchy foods!!!! you risk opening the incision and if it isnt totally sealed you may end up growing back your tonsils! seriously i got mine out when i was 17 and you wont feel like eating anything let alone crunchy stuff!! dont eat anything that hurts too much its only gonna do more damage and lengthen your recovery time!

Soft food like ice cream. You don't want to irritate an incision.

I. Feel. Your. Pain. I find yogurt, apple sauce, other kinds of soup (depending on what you like... You can only eat mostly the broth anyway), some kinds of cheese, and... Of course, ice cream!!
