people built a little shrine for the dead, specifically for the loved departed ones. The shrine contains a picture of that person, mole, bread, sugar skulls, candles, tamales, various fruits, ponch, chocolate milk, and other particular flowers and handicrafts. The dead are supposed to show up at night to "enjoy" themselves once again by eating the food served for them.

Mexico, Nov. 1
Parades and celebrations to celebrate their ancestors. It is a happy but melancholy day, since their loved ones are dead.
