If the official language is English and we keep our constitution and just simply admit them into the Union, then id say yes, canada and mexico both have alot of oil, and would greatly benifit from a union with us, though this idea is far fetched and unrealistic at the current moment.

Not in your lifetime! And, hopefully not in mine! Each country is too different. Mexicans are banditos, Canadians are diplomaticos and Americans are Gringos.

Besides, America is nothing more than the 50 dis United States and I say that with personal experience. In fact each state is as dis united as the entire country.

I am the Fringe and I say phuck globalization.

Oh great!
What a can of worms.
Look at how the UK has been sucked into the European Union against its people's will.
I have just read in the papers today that my area of England will soon be administered from Paris, France. (I kid you not.)
So how do you Yankees and Canadians fancy having your joint capital in Mexico City?

You got to be joking. The way our rights under the current constitution are eroding every day, if this happen, we won't have any rights left, under the new constitution. I think it will be a totalalitarian/ communist type govt. wher the common people will be enslaved, like the former USSR.

Hmm.......who would be our president/prime minister?

What language would we have to speak? Then would all the Americans cross the Rio Grande for cheap Gulf Coast property?

No way US citizens want to be as poor and corrupt as Mexico and no way Canada wants to be as wacky as the US.

I don't think it would be bad to unify us all and help out mexico while taking advantage of its resources. But the only way it would hapeen is if America took total control.

Well, if the US wanted to imperealize Canada because they are a bunch of ******* I could see why, but we have enough problems with our own citizens. Anyway, why would we want Mexico?
