I bought a pair of jeans today and came home to discover the inktag still on them. I don't really want to go back to get it removed, and I DID NOT STEAL THEM. How can I remove it? Is it possible?

This happened to me once. If you happen to have a really strong magnet then you can remove it.

If you didn't steal them, you should have no problem taking them back to the store.

There is no way to get them off without the ink tag bursting if you don't have a special magnetic machine. Regular magnets of any kind won't work. Take it back to the store. With your receipt, assuming you have one.

lol this is hilarious. The exact same thing happened to me just last week. We went back to the store with the reciept, and they removed it, no questions asked.
There is a way to remove it, if you unscrew it gently while holding it over a paper towel. It won't get ink on the clothes but it WILL get over your hands. My mom tried this once. It is better to return it.

NO DO NOT REMOVE IT YOURSELF!!! You could rip them or make them explode!! Simply go back the store and show the the slip! They will not give you a hard time! Hope it helps!!

Don't try it yourself. Call the store, explain your situation and that you have a receipt. Then go in and let them remove it for you. Not worth screwing it up.

If you really didn't steal it....go back.
If there WAS a way, it would benefit the thieves here.
