Huh??? You mean, like the toga, the laurel wreath, etc?
I think the laurels were the best descriptor of who he was. He was a victor, conquering everything he set out after. Gaul, the Senate, even mortality, in a way. During his reign he was made into a "god", so that even after his death he would be worshipped as immortal! Even his name became synonymous with power, as all succeeding emperors used Caesar as their surname! So, yeah, I think the laurel wreath of victory was the most significant part of his wardrobe.
