Pumpkins are big and round
Color of orange you see,
Where does the pumpkin grow?
It not in a tree.
I looked for the pumpkin
I wanted to know,
Where the pumpkin would grow.
I found a pumpkin on a vine
It was around Harvest time.
I picked the pumpkin and took it home,
Made me a Jack-o-Lantern and got my phone.
Called my friends and said come and see
My Pumpkin I placed in a tree.

Delicious treats for you to try
Large or small, orange and round
They're so nice to have around
So have a pumpkin, or wait--take two!
Make a jack-o-lantern, too!

And scare the squirrels and skunks away!
Whatever you do, enjoy them this fall
for soon we won't have any at all!

Pumpkins are so fat and cute, sitting close to a witches boot.
Carve and paint them for pure fun, and let the seeds dry in the sun.
Put them out on halloween night, and guide trick or treaters with its light.
Enjoy the pumpkins that you make, and don't forget that pie to bake.
