My car registration plate has 666 on it, it is a private plate. I have had many abuses because of it, yet no one can say why they dislike it other than it has this number???
What's the big deal???

Thanks for the answers so far, yes I am aware of the number, I am a Catholic and am well aware of this, I chose the number myself, simply cause it looks so cool on my car, but why take abuse from it???

It is interesting. I feel that we have yet to decipher it's true meaning. It does mention calculation in the Bible. Many believe it is connected to the monetary system in some way. It is ironic that we use the phrase in God we Trust when in fact this is a contradiction by using it on a piece of paper that doesn't recognize God by it's misrepresentation of reality. People worship money or the power it brings them but it is really a false power and unnatural. The Jews or Rabbis have their own interpretations. One is; The number six represents the physical world and by repeating the number three times reaffirms it. The number one represents God and so repeating it three times reaffirms it. In the same sense though you could combine the two by saying that the monetary system is a representation of the physical world having an entity or mystical power over us in the current physical world. It replaces our belief or faith in what god provides to a false belief in it's own power to provide. So credit replaces God in some way and by our extended use of it and our recording it reaffirms our current belief or faith in it.People are much more motivated by money or their faith in it's power than of a mysterious God or entity.It is a false God. If God is=> than the universe or all of the knowledge thereof and we truly believed or knew God than money wouldn't be necessary. People seem to overreact to the number even though they don't understand it's meaning or its current power over them. It's like saying you alone are the anti christ or mock everyone who ignores the truth. But, what do I know? I'm on disability and delusional.

I live in Italy and there are loads of 666's. here it is not an issue...if I was you I wouldnt give a damn what people think...it's pretty scary....maybe being unlucky number it'll bring you luck. My car is numbered 555 could that mean something?
