during pregnacy dreams often represent our insecurties, our fear that we won't do things right.

The part of the dream where you forget giving birth is just representing your fear of not being up to what you need to do.

I had dreams that I forgot the baby somwhere or that I had forgotten to of fed the baby for days. Or that I had left the baby on a shelf or somthing like that. I was/am a good mother, but the predelivery dreams showed my insecurties

You will be fine.

women usually get vivid dreams in pregnancy, yet it doesnt really mean anything. I remember dreaming I gave birth to a 2 yr old boy, or that I gave birth to twins.
I really just had a 5lb girl. What do you do before you go to bed? Are you hoping to have a boy? Usually things that we hear, watch on the tv or contemplate about and hour or so before bedtime shows itself in our dreams. Its our brains way of breaking down the events of the day...
any worries, hopes, wants, fears, anger, sadness events anything... will affect your dreams.

It means you dreamt that you had a boy and didn't remember the pregnancy.
