what do you do when you have a i tunes account and you use your credit card but want to use a i pod gift card?

Go to the Itunes music store home page (in Itunes) on the right hand side look for giftcard I believe in one of the boxes within the page. Click on that follow the directions to insert your code. If accepted the designated amount will be credit to your account. It will display your balance in the right hand corner and when you use it up it will return to your credit card.

change your method of payment from credit card to gift card. it should ask you for the account number listed on the gift card.
