my daughter got a new guinea pig a few weeks ago and we have discovered it has got worms, is there anything that can do for it, buy and if so where do we get it.

Yes you can get a worm medicine for guinea pigs, as we had a pet rat and it comes under same animals.you buy it from a pet shop or even the vets, but they should be wormed as it is safer for your family if all your animals are wormed

go to your nearest vet ,
He /she will prescribe the medication needed
they will identify the worms and can easily treat
your guinea pig and rid her of these nasty parasites .
the dosage is very important ;
( so i would NOT recommend , any over the counter ,
(Pet Shop medications )
which may ,make your pig ill or even kill it

I would suggest alfalfa and vitamin supplement called garlic complex You can crush 1/4 of each pill up and sprinkle on its food. go on line to Shaklee.ca I use these supplements on my dogs all the time they work.
