Are you able to get up and go to work? You're functioning at work? Your bills are paid and paid on time? You're not in debt up to your eyeballs, and hiding it from everyone, are you?

If the answers to these questions are yes, yes, yes, and no - in the order asked, then you probably don't have a problem. Once a week isn't usually a issue. Every second you can from the time you get out of bed till the time you pass out at night - that's a problem. Several times a day - a problem waiting to happen.

It depends on how much you spend on that one day. But if you only lose a small amount then you are OK. I know people that gamble every day of there life's, and they lose lots of money. When i lose a poker tournament i just entered for 100 bucks, i just think of people that spend 10,000 on a tournament and lose, then i feel better, just don't spend more then you can afford.
