My parents expect A's and B's which I usually get other than a few occassions where I have gotton a single C or too, and since middle school they say I expect a's and b's or you are grounded till midterms. Well the few occasions where I have gotton a C I have gotton out of the punishment. I think I am going to end up with a C on this report card in Bio even after working hard and going to review sessions and doing my best, and I know that I should just do it and get the grades and then I wouldn't have to worry about it but if I end up with the C what should I tell them or how should I try to get out of the ungrounding?

NOTE: I don't need any lectures about just get the grades and then don't worry about having to get out of the grounding or just take the punishment, if you can't help then be quiet. I'm not a dumby I usually get about a 3.45 because most of my grades are high B's and A's except sometimes I end up with a C and that hurts me-Thanks! :)

DUH!!! Get better grades and ask for extra credit when your grades start to slip! When your parents ground you, telll them that you will do better next time, and make a deal with them, like"I will clean my room and bathroom for a month if I don't get high grades from now on"
It works TRUST ME!!

It does not subject in case you or we uncover it reasonable or no longer, your father is doing what he wishes and thinks is pleasant. I get it, you'll be able to and normally do wrestle with detailed topics and in case you do and are suffering you have to say some thing whilst you're having disorders and no longer after grades pop out. It additionally does not subject whether or not your father can realize the fabric or no longer, relying on what it's, he's an grownup and helping you and the loved ones and is aware of plenty extra and is competent to do plenty extra then you definately. Your father is not always grounding you to be imply, however to encourage you. If you do not like being grounded and realize that you simply wrestle with detailed topics speak to him. Tell him that you do not imply to get unhealthy grade(s) and you do not like being grounded, however you've got a rough time generally. Ask him what you'll be able to do to avert getting grounded. I guess in case you paintings with him and exhibit a few attempt he'll paintings with you.

Good grades = Freedom
Poor grades = Grounding

you decide. If there are only two options (as stated above) then you decide what to do, and by your post you have decided to be a slacker. A little bit of study a day can reduce your stress, improve your relationship with your parents, and give you skills for life: time management.

well it sounds like you are studying and not slacking. If your parents know you are studying and putting in a good effort they should give you a break. I think a 3.45 is a good gpa and would be happy. That is my opinion but some parents are extremely strict with their children. Keep up the good work and good luck with your parents.

If your parents are dead set on not even one C (and I wonder why...) ask if they will negotiate punishment with you. Perhaps you could do extra work at home in exchange for some of the grounding time, or....

ok what i do when this happens is try to deal with the c and try to tell you parents that a c still means im doing average, and if they dont like or want to here that answer then i would suggest either doning harder or not to show them your report card. ( maybe you could just hack your grades to normal lol ;) )

You have to let them know you did your best and then they will go on from there. You did do your best, right? I don't think so, because when I did my best, I always got A's.

Note that I didn't always.
