Hello
I am going to assume you live in a warm climate.
To get the tastiest ripe fruit from your tree you should only use organic compounds and feed only every two or three waterings or three to four weeks. Once the fruit are established do not feed them any more. Make sure to give the tree a lot of water but don't let it puddle around the base. make sure saturation levels are high. If not take a probe and poke about 100 holes around a 4 foot parameter of the trunk at least 12- 18 inches deep. Not feeding them allows the fruit to be clean of any extra nutrients and give off a potent smell of what ever flavor of fruit you are growing.

No after the blossoms have fallen and the tiny fruit is set, No More feed.
I do not feed again until I have harvested the crop, and re pruned the trees, then I start to feed the tree again, but lightly.
I think too much lush greenery some times attracts too many chewing and sucking insects to the tree.

New tender growth encouraged by fertilizing will be more susceptible to freeze damage. I wouldn't fertilize until Spring.
What does the manufacturer recommend on the package for a feeding schedule?

there is no sane reason to fertilize when the tree is already setting and producing fruit!! the tree is almost finished for the year and you would do it more harm by trying to encourage it to grow when it is supposed to be getting ready for winter!!
