Yes they can, Hackers do it al of the time to unsecure systems. There is also software that a person can include an unseen code in that autoloads into your computer once you open it, and there have been enough holes in Microsoft operating systems, software, Internet Explorer, and other software. This is why using a good firewall, anti virus, and anti spyware program is essential. Another big issue is keeping your computer programs updated with the latest security patches, fixes, updates, etc. through Microsoft Updates if you are using a MS based product and you can have your own computer automatically update itself through the site. If it is not a MS product then check with the maker of your programming because they should have updates and fixes for any software concerns with their products. Good Luck. E.

Tberri: according to security you supposed to keep access private because that computer is yours and I do not give any
one imformation out unless it's family matters. The way to stop
this problem just report it in to internet security as reccomended
to keep out unwanted hackers sure helps me too
we must thank our lawinforcement!

Sure enough! Had some guy here in Ohio who was able to access the computers of young girls and view thier web cams w/out the girls knowing it. All these girls had computers in thier bedrooms! Its not just the plot lines in TV.

Yes, that is very possible. Keep all passwords confidential, keep notes like that in a safe place and out of sight. With so many hackers,it's not safe. Better safe than sorry.

Yes they can. I would say you need a hard or software firewall. Check out the website below.
