I just moved here and the people seem kinda shady and quiet. It must be me?

I agree with the one poster who said It depends on the company that you keep" If you hang out with shady people, thats all your going to find.
It takes time to find your little nitch in the community. I moved to Phoenix about a year ago and I now have a nice group of friends.
Try joining some kind of club or a class that interest you. That way you can meet others with this same kind of interest.

The ones I have met are very friendly. Tucson is no different than any other place. You will meet all kinds of people everywhere you go....some will be friendly, some wont.

They're not friendly to the people from Phoenix, especially if they discover they went to ASU (Go Sun Devils!). Tucson has U of A, home of the Wildcats, or is it the "Mildcats," I can never remember.

No, I've found people in Tucson to be pretty amiable. The people in Scottsdale will spit at you before looking at you, the folks in Sun City will hit you with their canes and run you over with golf carts... but Tucson and Tempe are nice places.

i live in tucson for 37yrs. & as u said some people seem shady. i am still looking to find someone to get along with

I've stayed in Tucson and found most people friendly.
People are often quite when you first meet, give them time to get to know you.

I am. Born and raised. It just depends on the company that you keep.
I recently moved to the South. There are mean people everywhere. To tell you the truth, I really miss home.

i hate arizona and have never seen anything good come out of it, so i'm not the one to be asking - but, people are only as friendly as you are (in most instances).
