OK....im to scared to see the movies, so i have one question...what significance does Amanda (Shawnee smith) play?
i know she is in the 3rd movie, and also was in the second, but what made her carry on through 2 movies......did she survive???what happened? if you dont know, plz tell me a site that can sum up the movie...thanx!

In the first one, she happens to be the only survivor of Jigsaw's "puzzles"..(kinda gory way so I'll just leave it at that) so when she shows up in the second one she reappears in the house where the other "players" are. Again, she survives and *spoiler* apparently takes the place of the old man who was the voice and twisted mind behind all those tortures.

I hate scary movies, but Saw really isn't scary. It's suspensful.
She was the only one to survive in the first movie, she supposedly messed up again and ended up in the house in the second movie, come to find out she was part of the scheme, the second movie was her way of proving herself to the master mind behind it all. You really should see them. They're great, I can't wait til Friday to see the 3rd
