Last year I was told I have hpv..Dr said it could either go away or trun into cervical cancer rapidly. He also said that it was brought on by alot of different factors. I have really heavy periods, changing tampons atleast 3 or 4 times in an hour and its still gets on my clothes. What could be causing this? I have an appointment in December with gyno but trying to get an earlier appointment.

Thanks, I am looking for another dr that will be interested in helping me instead of just making money.

You shouldn't be bleeding that heavily so it is important to get to the root of that problem. If you're in your late 40s - and I don't necessarily pick up on that - you probably need to have an endometrial ablation with biopsy.

I'd call up your personal physician and have them get an appointment a lot sooner. Have him/her go to bat for you. The word "Cancer" should've been enough to get you into one of those emergency appt slots.
