use d = m/v for both density = mass/volume
mass of liquid is 18.9-10.8=8.1g
volume of liquid is 6.4ml
8.1/6.4 =1.265625 grams per ml
2nd problem volume is 18.3-8.0 = 10.3ml
mass is 26.77 g
26.77/10.3 = 2.599 grams per ml
