Current advice for everyday teeth whitening (as opposed to possibly expensive dental treatment) is a toothpaste with bicarbonate of soda in.
Some of the tooth whiteners like Pearl Drops work by eroding the top, stained layer of enamel. Keep this up and you'd soon have no enamel!

If you want to buy your own... boots and superdrug do a good range... if you want to have it done via a dentist or clinic it can be quite expensive...
Go to the NHS Direct website they have a list of all registered clinics that would provide cosmetic treatments on teeth in your area!!!
Happy hunting!!!!

Go to Loblaws and get Crest Whitening Strips. I've never used them, but I think they'd work.

Boots chemist has quite a good range if you want to do it yourself.
If you want it done professionally, then you'll have to get your dentist to do it.......but it will probably cost you! If your own dentist doesn't do it, then he'll/she'll be able to recommend someone that does.
I personally haven't tried either, so i can't give you any recommendations......sorry.
