What?, after scoring a touchdown are the players suppose to quietly walk off the field without expressing any emotions like a bunch of nuns?

Yes the one on the Redskins Antwaan Randle El during the Colts game after he returned the punt or kickoff. I mean, come on.

It's a really stupid penalty, especially since the NFL licensed video games promotes it.

I personally think it makes the games more entertaining. You can't tell me that when T.O. or Chad Johnson get in the end-zone, everybody is waiting to see what they're gonna do.

Wasn't it Lambordi that once said Act like you've been there? Can't remember which famous coach said that but yeah that seems to be what the NFL wants now. Happened to the Steelers where because another joined in they called it excessive. I understand you can't get a bunch practicing and setting one up but come on let them have fun like that when it just happens.

Yeah it is stupid. I like your non analogy. It's a stupid rule thought of by some suave no nonsense businnesman in the political side of the NFL. That new rule that TD celebrations can't involve any props or hands touching the ground was stupid as well. I don't think that TD celebrations should be over the top, but they shouldn't be restricted like it's some sort of terrible crime.

I think that sometimes players might "excessively celebrate" but I don't think that Randel El did that at all. No more than what anyone else who makes an 85 yard return should celebrate.

as a results of fact some human beings think of that the interest ought to nevertheless have some sportsmanship and followers are often offended by way of dancing and crotch rubbing and yet shaking only becasue somebody scored a landing. needless to say the followers who gown up in costumes and positioned on face make up and understand little approximately soccer different than its a great hazard for adult adult males to gown in drag and rub chests with different guy like the dancing oh plenty. Its a gamble for them to out of the closet on a similar time as no longer having to confess it and pretend that they are only being followers.

Not in college football. Excessive celebrations can lead to fights, these guys are just 18-22 yrs old, not very mature.

YOU are so RIGHT ON. Let the players celbrate, taunt, act., etc

I think the reason the NFL does this is they do not want players promoting themselves. Its a way to control the players and keep it "corporate". ITS A JOKE!
