yugioh effect questions?

1-Can I use Magical Hats when my opponent uses a trap card in his battle phase to destroy one of my monsters. and if I choose two trap cards, are they activated?

2-can I use pot of Avarice even if I have less than 5 monsters in my grave

3- If I attack my opponent and he responds with Magic Cylinder, and I have one as well, can I use it??

4- lets say I have dar Magician in my hand, Magical dimension face down, and my dark magician girl is attacked, if I use Magical dimension, is the attack stopped?

5- can I use mystic box if I havge no monsters

6-can I use Breaker the M warrior's effect in my opponents turn?

7-if I activate Giant Trunade, does giant trunade return to my hand too?

8- if my skilled dark M has 3 spell counters and its my opponent's turn, do I have 2 wait until my tur to sacrifice it to use its effect?

1) If it is your battle phase, no. If not, yes. Traps are not activated.
2) No you cannot.
3) No you cannot. Magical Cylinder only negates attack and inflict damage to opponent equal to attack. It does not negate damage.
4) If you use magical dimension, summon your Dark magician and destroy tht attacking monster, the attack is stopped.
5) No you cannot
6) No you cannot. It is not multi trigger.
7) No it goes to the graveyard upon effect.
8) I am pretty sure no. I don't think it is multi trigger.
