God created universe in great wisdom.
If that is true then why did he creat humans and allow them, from what it seems, to be the destruction of his creation? Was perhaps that moment of his decision not so wise? Could it be that creation was perfect to begin with but evolution stepped in somewhere along the way and gave its anomalous twist to Adam and Eve?

That is an excellent question, but it is really late here right now and my anomalous noodles are somewhat overcooked and on hold! … Nonetheless, I'll share with you, my good friend, this much: Human beings are only important to human beings, the Universe could ABSOLUTELY care less about us (as it did NOT about 300-million-year old dinosaurs either), UNLESS OF COURSE, the human animal learns to completely dominate the very nature of the Universe at its core. And by that, I do NOT mean playing with atomic/nuclear matchsticks or intergalactic travel, but manipulating the very fabric of spacetime and being able to set into motion Universe-modifying events such as initiating a Big Crunch, etc. But even then, we will not only be confronted by Meaninglessness, but also total annihilation of the human design as we know it now, or might ever come to know in any evolutionary extension of our existence. Therefore, I would argue that we are what we are (i.e. important to ourselves and our own self-defined reality), but otherwise, nothing more or nothing less than the very substances of the Universe itself organized into a curious and conscious pattern. So, you might ask: What’s the Universe’s ultimate game of turning us into these bits and pieces of consciousness? In other words, why should the very substances of the Universe ever attempt to organize themselves into such an apparently curious consciousness state? And my humble question-response would be: What else, if not for the Universe itself to find the courage to pursue The Anomalous path through us? ... So, there may (and I repeat "may") yet be other enigmatic and anomalous Universal paths available to our human design that might prove to be of Meaningful interest to the Universe itself, as well. I guess you just have to take your vitamins and other age suppressing medications to make sure you are around to see when and IF the more-evolved human kind might start traveling its True Anomalous Universal Destiny. … Meanwhile, I'm gonna get some sleep and pray to your God not to have any anomalous or enigmatic nightmares for the time being at least - no thanks to you and your funky little question, that is! :-) :-) :-)

I myself have no real answer to questions like this. There are times that I feel the earth would be better off without us, but when I look at a work of art, or in a child's eyes, or remember my children being born, I say no! We are here in the now, and even if we all die tomorrow, the universe will not notice. But perhaps it will be a little less rich without us and our potentials. The universe is not, never has been, and will never be perfect. Those facts alone argue against a perfect creator, but on the other hand argue for a more approachable entity.......................?

your theories are not working, you are trying to create it based on two very different ideas. if you believe in universe and evolution then you don't believe in god, or if you believe in god then you don't believe in science. you see, if you are trying to say that humans are violent then why don't to take a look at other animals, or even the stars and planets in the universe, they all came to creation with a very violent history. planets blew up, they reformed etc... nothing is ever too beautiful of too powerful without a disaster.
at least we humans have earned our right to be the way we are through suffering and struggle, our ancestors were once prays and now we are the dominate predators. i think its all fair. we are the right species for this job. even nature loves us the most. we have earned it. there is no grater power than the power of nature, humans created themselves through evolution just like every single other species did. and we will continue to evolve and must survive. we are the new inventions of the universe.

who believe today that God created the universe?
maybe, just in the dark ages and the muslem and fanaic religions believe...
and as i don't believe in that - not intend to insult you - nature create good and bads things.
the better - will survive. and as many animales etc. disappeared - so will be with the human . not in our age, and not sooner - unless the fanatic will begin an atomic
war...

NO WAY, this may not be to your way of thinking, but here goes, it's not God doing all this destruction of his creation, it's called FREE WILL, all of us got it, we use it all the time. Choose to be whatever you want, Humans choose this, not God It is a choice to blame God, but look not towards God, look instead to your own thinking . Ask your self how is it that I am adding on to this creation, appreciate yourself. your life, and all that you have, and let the rest of world do what ever they want. This is about personal responsibility, leave God out of it.

All of the other living creatures of the earth, and the earth herself most certainly would. Our pets might suffer for a little bit, but things would balance out. And I don't think that humans going out into space and terraforming another world to transplant earths flora and fauna to save them makes any kind of sense either, sice eventually there will be no worlds lesft, and we will have used up all of our fuel before we even figure out interstellar travel anyway. Luke 19:39-40

39And some of the Pharisees called to Him from the crowd, “Teacher, rebuke Your disciples.” 40But He answered and said to them, “I tell you that if these should keep silent, the stones would immediately cry out.”
.
There's a good possiblity that creation would do better without us. Why God created us to worship sometimes is a mystery. Even Jesus said that would the rocks would cry out to prasie Him if it weren't for us.

God created humankind perfect, but gave them the free will not to be. I don't believe that that was a mistake on God's part, but rather the result of an experiment He chose to make with full knowledge of what COULD happen.
God can do anything--except mess with your free will.

A universe without human beings? Who would be around to even know there was a Universe. Except God, of course. It would seem such a waste then.
