Prescribed? As for OTC--Regular Strength tylenol is suppose to be fine--1 or 2--as directed. However, I want to stress that every doctor/practice is different and new advice and finding comes out every day. And what was ok for those of us 3 months agao, might not be ok today. With a quick call---your DR's office (dr, nurse...etc) should be able to tell you what OTC meds you can take without a problem while pg--or give you a list. Also--although headaches are common in pregnancy--they can also be a symptom of other issues...like gestational diabetes. So, it is always good to discuss with the Dr.

Not sure but tylenol doesn't work for me. I go to the doc on wednesday and I plan on talking to my doc. I have been in ht bed for the last week with headaches on the verge of a migrane. I hope that there is something else SAFE because I have a two year old too and I want her to be excited about her new brother but all she sees me doing is hugging the toilet and laying down with towels over my head. Good luck and if I find something out I'll let you know.

None that I'd ever be comfortable taking. They say theyre fine and dont harm the baby... until a few thousand infants are born with problems and they realize it was the medication. Happens all the time. Thats why most doctors and women dont suggest you take ANYTHING during pregnancy except maybe a tylenol.

If you get repeat headaches, try accupuncture. It works like magic, i promise.

I don't think u should take a lot of medicine when u pregnant. Just go to your doctor and ask him if it's good or not, but don't do it by yourself, u mite hurt the babe. Be careful with some medicines it's better not to take a lot of painkillers when u pregnant. I wish u good luck and have a beautiful babe!!!
