first order of business would be to remove all humans and let the rest of the animals get on with things without our interference.

I'd promote all the things wrong in the world like a sick fanatic, let some idiot broadcast it and wait for the backlash.
when people finally see what is wrong with this planet they might start to think about humanity as a whole rather than as individuals. people need to worry more about giving than financial gain as this world runs on greed and profit alone. take the Vatican for instance, it is the biggest and richest organisation in the world and churches are nothing but lavish palaces built for some mythical being that is never home so why doesn't the pope sell the so called holy buildings and feed the starving with the proceeds, after all a church or cathedral is only a meeting place for religious people so why can't they meet at the local community centre as I don't think god himself would mind selling a few holiday homes to help his children. too much money gets bloody wasted on bloody decor!!! nuff sed!!!

I would abolish money transactions, so that people would have to barter again and rely on each other's skills.......................................Then everyone would have to appreciate everyone again !!! I would introduce a curfew for children, lets say under the age of 16. They would have to be off the streets by 21.00 or be accompanied by an adult. I would introduce cookery, home management, parenting and banking tuition for all 14 year olds (which used to be the old fashioned Finishing schools idea). I might think about re-introducing national service again, or a similar structure like social services.
I certainly would abolish the overrated Health and Safety Rules, which are so often nonsensical and impractical. These rules also prevent people from being innovative and spontaneous. Common sense seems to have gone out of the window !!! But then...................may be it would be better to start by banging a few politicians heads together ?

everyone gets an education.
teach ethics and social responsibility in grade school.
reward living with in the earths means not the excesses of the wealthy.
discourage new births encourage adoption of orphans and needy families instead
many problems are just because the earth cant support so many! and many with out basic health and safety needs.
concentrate on housing all. and nutrition for all.
oil alternatives.
stop planting trees that also pollute like done in USA so Calif.VOC's
irrigate large areas of the world where farming could take place.
develop less cruelty in animal slaughter and encourage local small farming.
reward kindness and caring and compassion over wealth and possessions.
for a very good start.
see maslow's hierarchy of needs. make sure none falls off of it!

I would start with politicians. I would reduce their salary first of all to what the "middle class" people earn so they can understand how their affluent lives do not compare to ours. I would make them pay for medical care and cut off their prepaid government trips and such. Make them lead a lifestyle they have not been accustomed to. Then they would make better choices by truly understanding how we live. The whole world has not been born with a golden spoon in their mouth and the sooner these politicians feel what we feel and live how we live, things will improve. They need to know it's not all about money.

I would change the world from a sphere to a cube. I would start by squashing it in the poles and use the major oceans to form the sides!

Get rid of all the scumbags on the planet. Rapists, child molesters, murderers, drunk drivers, etc. Then I would rid the world of all deseases, first on the list would be cancer, Aids etc. And give everyone £50,000 a year to live on.
