I am assuming Judaism or Christianity in my answer, as that is all I know of personally.
The traditional Jewish Sabbath was on what we now call Saturday, i.e., the seventh day.
The early Christian apostles began commemorating the resurrection of Jesus Christ on what we now call Sunday, which then essentially became the Christian Sabbath.
Seventh Day Adventists are a Christian sects that observe the traditional Jewish day.
Main point is to pay attention to the Lord's things on the Holy day that you choose to observe, and make it a consistent day, not either day for convenience sake.

Sunday. If you have read the bible its says in the beginnig God made the earth in seven days and on the seventh day he rested. And then later in the bible it says You shalt not work on the sabbath day for it is the the Lord God rested.
