This can be done, but not FULLY. First, I have to explain how the delete command works. In windows, when you delete, it goes to the recycle bin. From there, after you empty it, the files are hidden from windows, but are still physically on the hard drive. I used to think that that meant that nothing could be deleted, but it can. Everything that his hidden from Windows can be OVERWRITTEN by any writing or saving to the hard drive - including starting up/shutting down the computer. Now I'll get to the process:
1. From now until this is finished, DON'T USE YOUR COMPUTER FOR ANYTHING EXCEPT THIS, for some programs may save files and overwrite the pictures!
2. Go to http://www.softperfect.com/products/file... and download the program. Save it to a floppy disk or flash drive if available.
2. Run the program, and make sure that in the "Where" field is your C Drive, and in the "What" field, either type the name (part) of the files or * and then the file type in three letters, such as "*jpg" or "*.doc"
3. After you have found your files, right click on them and click "restore"
4. Hopefully most of them will be recovered
5. Then, you may want to try http://www.roadkil.net/unstopcp.html... to recover files from a CD if you lost it from there
6. Good Luck!

Sometimes if you go Start-> Control Panel-> add/remove programs the programs will be in there. It depends on what programs you deleted though. But most likely if you deleted them from the recycling bin, they're gone.

yes. Go into start and what ever your thing is in that you can set your computer back a day . do it . I do it because I'm just learning the computer and I loose a lot of stuff. Hit start go to help & support go to fixing a problem hit using system restore to undo changes.
