Yes you are a genius. All of our problems are caused by the people in Washington. While we are on the subject, lets blame George Bush in particular for everything we do not like. In case you have not heard we are in a world economy. We are competing with people from other countries such as China who also buy oil. That is called demand. Now since you insist on blaming Washington for gas prices there is the matter of Supply. Here my friend you have a valid point. Your Democrat politicians do not want any more refineries built or anymore exploration. So if you want to make a differance Vote Republican.

Well...if it were up to us, gas prices would probably be at $0.50/gal. But it is not up to us. Yes, elections of those in Washington do infact have the deciding factor of gas prices, but the American People do not have a say in the prices. But you do bring up a good point.

As the joke goes "Why are gas prices so high? Because all the oil is in the Middle East, and the dipsticks are in Washington"
