At 46, yo have to look forward to doing more of what it is you want to do - as by now, you should know more about yourself and your likes and dislikes.

I am 46 and wish I were 40 again - 1st, I was in Nashville, TN and NEVER should have come back to Tampa - but that is my problem....just learn from my mistakes!

Also - If you are not happy with your job - take the time to go to school to learn for another one......or to advance in the one that you are in.

In 5 years, you will only be 45 - and you are where you are now because of decisions made within the last 5 years. What are you going to do now for then???

All the wild oats whot you sowed in your twenties will be comin home to roost. best prepare yourself for the onslaught.
After (if you survive that) theres a mid-life crisisto get thru and then you'll be asking what you have to look forward to when you r fifty. If you very lucky youll make it thru your fifties and into your mid sixties n then you might if theres any left get some of the pension you've been workin for all that while. Oh and the bloody taxman will still be wanting a bigger percentage of it back every year!

What ever you want to. It all depends on your mid-set. If you have a positive attitude, keep trying to improve your lot in life, don't let the little things trouble you, spend some time improving your health, and think of the future as a period for self-betterment you will forget age and focus on living. If you "act your age" and let others dictate your lifestyle you will get left behind. None of us is getting out alive, so spend every day making a difference for yourself and those you love. I look for the humor and spend my day smiling - everyone wants to know what I'm up to.

Another 40 to 80 years of life, depending on how well you take care of yourself.

You still have ALOT to look forward to. Do something.

I am 30 and STILL working on my degree. Maybe you should work on another degree.

Start a non-profit business that actually helps people.

I turned 44 last month, so what, big deal, you'll just be in "middle age." You are about as old as you make up your mind to be, you just aren't going to be recovering as soon from physical stresses (like exercise) as you did when you were younger. You've got many more surprises in life in store for you, that is plenty to look forward to.

There's a lot to look forward to --- a new career, a new degree, children growing up, graduating from university and getting married, becoming a grandparent, big family outings with grandchildren pestering you to buy things for them, going on a long and special holiday with the one you love, making new friends, learning new skills... simply uncountable!
