Sometimes, while I'm away, my cousins/brothers who would be on my computer would go on pornographic sites. Despite me telling them numerous times to stop, they still do it. This is getting out of hand and I think it's time I take action. I am willing to block every pornographic site that's on my history. If there's a way I can block all sites that are 18+ required, that would be wonderful. Please do not tell me to tell my parents or beat them up. That's irrelevent. Right now I just want to block the sites? Can anyone instruct me how?

well, if you have sbc yahoo dsl, you can download the security center with parental controlls, or you can search google for parental controlls, but then it will probably just be expensive

you can also go to tools--internet options--under content advisor, click [Enable] > scroll down the categories until you find the one you want to filter out (e.g. Nudity) > select the category and slide the scale all the way to the right > [O.K.] > [Apply] > [O.K.] > Exit > reboot.

you can set restricted sites or if you have a firewall, you can set high settings

If you are using Internet Explorer then on the menu bar > tools > internet options > "content" tab > under content advisor, click [Enable] > scroll down the categories until you find the one you want to filter out (e.g. Nudity) > select the category and slide the scale all the way to the right > [O.K.] > [Apply] > [O.K.] > Exit > reboot.

You can allow or block any site of your choice by using a firewall program such as ZoneAlarm. Once entered, those sites can not enter your machine again.I'll be happy to help you get it installed if you'd like, it's free to the public. Hit me on dumbbutt4321@yahoo.com Great Question, Larry

Tools
Internet Connections
Check out the Security, Privacy, and Content tabs.

Note the "enable" button in "content." Open it. You can set your options, then set a password.

Don't be afraid to open all the options, just keep your eye on the "cancel" button so you don't get something you don't want.
