Go home to visit, and while there , make up your mind where you would rather live....in California with him, or back home with family and friends. I think your answer might surprise you. Good Luck!!

Where did you move from?
I am moving from canada to california in the same situation as you. How has the transition been, Were you happy when you first got there?
Try to stick it out, You moved there for a reason. See what you can do to make some friends, look online for people in your area, find people to talk to so you don;t feel 'alone''
I am sure your boyfriend loves you very much and sounds like he is working hard for your future. You should really sit down and think of what will make you happy. What it is you want? Is there things you can do to feel better, people you can meet, perhaps his family or his friends girlfriends? Or have you got it in your head that you can't be happy there. Talk to your boyfriend once you know what it is you really want. is he willing to move back or relocate with you? There are many possible outcomes to this situation. Which is the one that you want?
I hope it works out for the best for you.

I think that you should move back home if you can't get any friends, or you could get a job and you will always meet new people there (not trying to offend you in any way). But I think that a job is the way to go, so then you and your co- workers can jus go to happy hour at a near by club and just have fun, but then again you don't have any family or close friends out there and what if something goes wrong with you and your boi friend? Wat are you gonna do then? Eventually move back home because you will have no on to go to. but that is totally up to, those are two options i think that you should consider

hi there ,
Happy to hear you have a bf you were willing to move for, sad to hear that you hate it there so much. What is his job? does he have to stay working there? is it possible for him to change shifts? I believe that you both should be honest about what is working and what is not. Maybe he doesn't realize it is bothering you. At the end of the day dear you will end up holding it against him if you stay. weather you are aware of it or not. Good luck love is tricky but also full of treats! hey that was my Halloween pun!!!

Have you honestly tried to get out into the community and make other friends? Are you currently working? Talk to your boyfriend about how you feel, maybe he will be able to change shifts at his job so you can spend more time together.

Home is where the heart is , I think your happiness depends on going back home and to find happiness there and not a long distance relationship as appealing as it is . Tough decision for sure but one you need to make . Good luck to you it won't be easy but friends and family will help .

If he is a wonderful person, I think it will be a mistake to go back home. Try to make friends, or visit your family once in a while. Get some hobbies to keep you occupied. Remember: you don't know what you have till you lose it!
