Here's a list of the best rides at Walt Disney World. There's four different theme parks, so there's a list for the best rides at each of the parks...

Disney's Animal Kingdom Park:

DINOSAUR- One of the scariest rides ar Walt DIsney World, and also one of my favorites. It's so much fun, even the wait in line, and the Audio-Animatronic dinosaurs look real.

Expedition Everest: Legend of the Forbidden Mountain- The Animal Kingdom Park's newest ride, and easily one of the best at Walt Disney World. This is really one of the most amazing roller coaster rides you'll ever go on. The Imagineers went to the Himalayas to do research before building this attraction and it shows. The detail is extraordinary. And the Yeti... scary!

Kali River Rapids- If you want to get wet, this is the ride. You're bound to get soaked, but it's a lot of fun.

Kilimanjaro Safaris- Definitely one of the most popular rides at the Animal Kingdom Park. You'll use up a lot of film on this ride. You see so many animals, and you really feel like you're in a complete different country, not at a busy crowded theme park. There's elephants, rhinoceros, hippopotamus, warthogs, ostriches, lions, zebras, pelicans, etc.

Primeval Whirl- I love this roller coaster. There's no big hills and it's not extremely fast, but it's very different from other roller coasters. The vehicle you're in is circular and seats four, and it spins as it rolls along the track. It's so fun, I laugh so much on this ride!

Disney-MGM Studios:

Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith- This coaster's definitely in the top three at Walt Disney World. The take-off at the beginning is the best part. The roller coaster is indoors and in the dark. It's really cool because all you can hear is blaring Aerosmith music, and all you can see is the blur of the neon-lighted signs the coaster goes by. This is also the only roller coaster that has a "corkscrew."

The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror- Obviously, this is one of the most popular attractions at Walt Disney World, and one of the best. It's very scary, especially if you're afraid of heights, or just don't enjoy that feeling of your stomach "dropping." It's a lot of fun once you ride it, but I'm always so nervous the entire time we wait in line for the ride, and by the time we get to the elevator I have tears in my eyes. It's so worth it, though, and afterwards you're so glad you went on.

Disney-MGM Studios Backlot Tour- I guess some people don't like this ride, but especially if it's you're first time at Walt Disney World, you should ride it. I enjoy it, anyway.

The Great Movie Ride- This is a classic Walt Disney World attraction, so it's really a must.

Mission: SPACE- This is an extremely popular attraction. What's great is that there's to different options. The original version, or the new mild version. The original version is actually pretty intense, so if you're at all unsure, try the more mild one first. I always ride the original one, though.

Test Track- This ride is so fun!!! Definitely one of my favorites. It's like being on a test track, but there's no injuries to you or the vehicle afterwards. The car jerks and stops suddenly, goes through different weather conditions, and then goes outside to go 60-65 MPH on a straightaway (but it seems a lot faster when you're riding.)

Soarin'- This could very well be the most popular attraction at Walt Disney World, and it's easily the most popular attraction at EPCOT. I absolutely love it, and it's worth the ridiculously long wait in line.

The Seas with Nemo & Friends- This ride just opened at EPCOT about a week or two ago, and it's becoming quite popular. Disney expects it to be a top attraction. I guess it's pretty cool. Characters from the movie "Finding Nemo" are projected onto the glass of the aquarium, so it appears it looks like they're swimming with the real fish. Disney did a great job, I heard.

Spaceship Earth- This is a classic Disney attraction and one of the longest rides at Walt Disney World (the ride lasts 16 minutes.) This ride goes through the entire Geosphere, the icon of EPCOT. It's really awesome, and there's a lot of Audio-Animatronics.

Maelstrom- This is a really fun viking boat ride located at the Norway Pavilion. It's very enjoyable and worth riding. The wait in line doesn't usually seem to be long either.

El Rio del Tiempo- Similar to the "Maelstrom" attraction, but obviously in a completely different setting. It's also slightly more slow-paced.

Ellen's Energy Adventure- I really love this ride. Ellen is so funny! And the great thing is that it's educational, but also very entertaining.

Living with the Land- This ride is really interesting. You get to kind of go behind-the-scenes and see how Disney actually grows some of its own vegetation. They grow different plants and flowers, but they also grow their own vegetables and fruit to serve at different restaurants at Walt Disney World.

Magic Kingdom:

Space Mountain- An indoor roller coaster in the dark. It's a lot of fun, and it's really exciting because you don't know what's coming ahead of you. This is definitely one of the best attractions at the Magic Kingdom.

Splash Mountain- One of the most popular attractions at the Magic Kingdom. It's basically like a log flume ride, but it's much more detailed and there's story to the attraction.

Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin- I love this ride. The vehicles you ride in have these plastic guns that rotate. There's little aliens and other space creatures everywhere with bullseyes, and you and your opponent, the other person you're riding with, have to try to get as many points as possible.

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad- This is another popular roller coaster. I love it. It's similar to Space Mountain, except it's outside and you're riding in a train. It's a lot of fun, too.

Mad Tea Party- I actually like this ride a lot. It's so fun because you control how much your tea cup spins. I like to spin it as fast as I can, but if you get dizzy easily you can spin it a little, or not at all. And the line never seems to be very long, so if you're waiting for time to pass until you can use a FastPass for another ride, it's convenient.

Pirates of the Caribbean- This is one of the oldest and mos popular attractions at the Magic Kingdom. If it's hot outside it's a good choice because when you wait in line you're inside, and it's very cool. It's an exciting boat ride and there's all kinds of Audio-Animatronics. It's been updated recently, too, and there's an Audio-Animatronic of Johnny Depp from the newer Pirates of the Caribbean movies. It was done really well.

The Carousel of Progress- I'm counting this as a ride because this is one of my all-time favorite attrafctions at Walt Disney World, and it's somewhat of a ride (a ride/show.) It's a show of Audio-Animatronics in a rotating theater. It's really cool!

The Haunted Mansion- A classic Disney attraction, and one of my personal favorites. Also, one of the most popular at Walt Disney World. It's pretty much the best fake haunted house ever created. There's Audio-Animatronics and ghosts that look quite real.

Okay, so there you have it. A list of the best rides at Walt Disney World. Remember, though, that's only a list of the best rides. Besides that, there's plenty of awesome stage shows, 3D shows, fireworks/pyrotechnic shows, and many other types of attractions.

All the rides at Disney World are GREAT! It is up to you to try them and choose your OWN favorites. What I might think is the best could be different from what you like!

If you like rollercoasters, then the Rock N Roller Coaster (featuring Aerosmith) at MGM is pretty cool.
So is Space Mountain at Magic Kingdom, and definitely add to the list, Expedition Everest at Animal Kingdom. However, I do not like the Big Thunder Mountain coaster. I feel like it "jerks" you around too much. (hey, just my opinion)

If you like gentler rides there are plenty. I LOVE, love, LOVE Pirates of the Carribean, (especially since they've added Jack Sparrow!) You have to do It's A Small World. No trip to Disney World is complete without it!

So go, and experience everything for yourself! That is the only way you will know for sure. My advice is don't always judge something by the way it looks. I have often found that some of the things that look "lame", "boring", "stupid", can be the most fun parts of the trip. (My first two trips to Disney World I didn't ride the "Teacup" ride because I thought it looked boring! Was I ever wrong- you can really get those things spinning fast!!!!)

Have a great trip! Enjoy everything that you do!
