I feel pretty good about it actually.

Reasons:
1. I don't have to take speech classes to become a news reporter.
2. Big hair is not a requirement.
3. No leather fringe...ever.
4. I don't have to be polite.
5. I don't have to say "I'm from Dixie"

Dixie, Florida? The town Dixie? Or the county Dixie?
My best friend here is from Dixie. So is her husband. They feel bad that they ARE from Dixie.
I'm glad I'm not. I don't think I could stand living in a town with the same population as my old high school.

Actually, most people who aren't truly from Dixie don't actually know where Dixie really is, or why it's called that, so they probably don't know what they're missing.
