As long as you do not have a history of blood clots its safe to travel clear through your pregnancy. Although just about all airlines will try to keep you off the plain if you're in your 8th month or beyond. But i have seen VERY pregnant women fly.
Check with your doctor and airline, generally, except for health reasons, you can travel until birth.

I flew across the country when I was 7 1/2 months pregnant. It wasn't an easy feat, though, I was very uncomfortable on the plane. You think the space is tight normally!! The only side effect I had was swollen ankles and feet, but I think if I had gotten up and moved around a bit during the flight, I would've been fine. I would probably not fly too much later than 8 months, just in case. I would check with your doctor, but if your pregnancy has been normal, I would go for it!! Have fun!!

Many air companies don't like when women in there 3rd trimesters fly. The air pressure is different. and since your sitting for a period of time and not moving your circulation is restricted. If you do go move your ankles, wrists. Even take a walk to the bathroom, since your going to be going pee more frequently! Good Luck! my vote is that you'll be fine as long as you had nothing wrong with your pregnancy!

Yes, you can travel in your 6th month...
you can fly up until 36 weeks. If you really needed to fly somewhere after 36 weeks, its okay.... but your risking going into labor.

Your dr. will tell you when it's no longer safe to fly. I think you can fly right up until the end, though.
