Say you have a pretty good offense with a couple playmakers...Let's take the Lions as an example. Today they're ofense put up 24 points ( I think thats a descent score for an NFL game) but of course they still lost.They're defense dug themselves in a hole allowin 14 points on the first 2 drives of the Jets. One was 81 yard and the other 80. Yet they still had a chanche being down a TD and they faked the onside kick and kicked it deep.I guess that's fine since they had a timeout and the 2 min. warning.So I'll they got to do is stack up for the run ( a smart NFL coach won't pass) So mangin did run and they got a first down...and the game was over.

Well,I think nowadays with all the talented athletes coming into the NFL that it would be very hard to win a Super Bowl without having a good defense that can create turnovers and give the ball to the offense.

Look at the Colts for the past 6 years, There is no defense, but they still 13 or 14 games a season

Defense wins championships. Most of the teams that make it far into the playoffs can run the ball and stop the run. Other than that u r the Colts and u can have shootouts only so much b4 u lose

No you can not score with out a defense you need to block them so they cant score, if they score all the time you will lose because they will score more

Your offense would just have to be overpowering to be successful without a defense.
