I have a book for you!! LOL!
Well, you will have to get it yourself, but trust me, you want it!
And the good part is, it's only $10 US.

It is called Digital Scrapbooking in easy steps.
It is a step by step guide of how to work with photo's. While it specifically uses Adobe Elements 4 for the examples, it is applicable to any photo program, and even gives tips for various ones.

You can purchase it at your local Barnes and Noble Store, or at B & n online. Here is the website for the "in Easy Steps" books:

Get it, it is worth it, absolutely! It will tell you how to do everything you need to do. Even making your own backgrounds and elements.
