You like two of the best bands but hate all the rest?! what is wrong with you?I mean, I'll be the first to say that Pete Townsend is the best guitarist of all time, but some of those artists (Led Zep, Floyd) still made great contributions to music. I pray you reconsider your view otherwise May you be struck down with divine fire by the Gods of Rock!

When were the Stones ever the greatest? From 63-69, the Beatles were the best. And from 70-79, Zeppelin was the best. By that time, the Stones were rehasing the same music over and over again.

I saw the Rolling Stones a few years back; great show although the ticket prices were a little steep.
Has the Who released anything new?
Let's not forget AC/DC... they can rock with the best of them!

i can kinda see where you are comming from, but i have to disagree a little bit. first off, the rolling stones are deffinatley the best. second, u2 doesnt play crap and neither does oasis. also, queen might have made it bigger if freddie mercury didnt die, and all the other bands you named really arent that bad (even though you forgot a few).

They are still the greatest rock band in the world because they make the most money when they tour. The way they make the most money is by charging more than anyone else for ticket prices.

At one time the Who may have been a close second but not anywhere close now. I've never seen a more uninspired going through the motions show in my life. they suck!
