Dear TT- So the old so and so visited the troops, did he? Too bad Lady Diana is no longer with us;she was pretty and she might have found a new boyfriend among the ranks. Glad it wasn't Camilla, though. The troops would have had to go thru SEVERAL tankers full of Fosters after viewing her.

I suspect they were more grateful than you are. I admire an 85 year-old man who makes a trip into a danger zone like that, and no doubt he can relate to them with own service in WW2 behind him. My opinion of him has risen.
Anyway we've seen the sort of debauchery some coalition troops have gotten into - strippers and beer are not the best idea.

Prince Phillip was a warrior in his day, A lieutenant in the Royal Navy during WWII. Maybe he can relate to their situation. It would be nice if he had the power to bring them home, though.

He's a great guy, always willing to take a back seat to the queen...always totally supportive of her and her hard work, apparently without complaint. A role model in fact for all men with working wives. Lets have more of the same...
