how do i get stuff i d/l off the net for sims 2 to work in the game since thesims2.com seems to be down?

There are oodles of hacked and modded objects, clothing, and skins on the Web. You might want to visit The Sims Resource--they have a lot of websites on their "Links" page.

IF the sites down then wait about a day then the next day go to thesims2.com and then go to downloads then youl know from there

When the Sims 2 network is working again down lode your stuff and it will automatically be added to your game.

www.modthesims2.com has a ton of things, a lot more than the main site in objects and hacks, but you'll need Q-Xpress, WinRAr and Color Coding (you can download those off the site)
