I would give it a little time, you don't want to make the wrong move at this point. See how she responds to you, then you will be able to tell when the time is right. Everyone is different, some like to go out right away to keep their minds off of the ex., and some like to be left alone.

Ask her out...she is feeling low now and she wants to think she's still got it...if you have to, go the friend route, but it really depends on how serious YOU want to be with her...if you are just looking to have some fun, then ask her out...she's going to be more than ready for some fun after the seriousness of a break up!

Yes, give her some time.
Get to know her by developing a friendship with her.
Tell her she is pretty, and notice the small things about her that no one else notices, that may be important to her.
Make her feel good about herself and if you succeed and her feelings are mutual, Stay true........
