Sometimes it is really hard, if I looked at my day the way I feel in the morning (I have a lot of pain) I would not even get out of bed, but I believe life is good, and I always look at all the possibilities I have when I do start my day, I gear my mind to motivate me for this day, and thank God I was able to get up, as my day goes by it mostly turns out Great, and I am always glad I pushed myself. My motto is always keep active, and be positive.

Don't deprive yourself of sleep. Take up a new hobby - one that you can do after work, and involves challenging yourself in some way. This gives you something to look forward to, and as there is going to be some sort of challenge involved, it will help develop you in one form or another.
Maybe join a gym? Could be to beef up, or lose weight or just to improve fitness. What about learning a language?
Have a look at what is out there. Do something you will enjoy, and most important of all, set yourself realistic targets. Oh, and have fun with it :-)

If you only had a certain number of heart beats to live
and say your down to having only 2 billion left
will you treasure them
if you do they will motivate you
to motivate yourself invest your time wisely so when you look back upon your time and feel acomplished and happy about what you did with your own heartbeats, if you made a better world your time had greater value to you.

I stay motivated by remembering that I will NOT be able to just do what I want after work, unless I work hard to earn the money to afford it.

Thats a tough one. Sometimes I just don't allow myself to think about the laborious tasks ahead and go onto autopilot. Or I try to count down to the days or hours that I have something to look forward to.

for me, as soon as i wake up and put a foot out of the bed, i feel like staying in bed all day, but....i have to get up to do hubbys cuppa and babies milk, then i'm at work, i daydream alot to get me through the day, thinking what i'm going to buy with my wages, or where i would like to go for a night out. by then it's lunch time, so only half a day left! after i have lunch i daydream more thinking what to give the baby for her tea (im trying to hide different foods in potatoe's so she eats them) then think of my wages at the end of the week.
as soon as i get home, cook, clean and bed...yes...too tired to do anything, but theres always tomorrow

Stimulate yourself through sights and sounds. Why do people watch movies or listen to music? Because it motivates them, inspires. Start off small and get your adrenaline pumping.

Without goal, purpose, intent and strong will, I don't think you'll ever see motivation.
