As long as you can make it look good, yes. As long as it is not against the rules of whatever organisation/company you are dancing with. Yes, more variety in dancing is good. Audience usually appreciates it.

If you are over 40, not only is it a bad idea, it should be considered abuse of the most cruel and vicious kind. To have a person of a certain age group thrown into a situation that can only have a terrible ending, is by far, inhumane. But pretty darn funny if done with the utmost discretion on an unsuspscting nit-wit that just works your last nerve; And your name is never mentioned could make me laugh so hard I could fall off of the bar stool and break a hip. Still worth the chuckle though.

I think it could give it a cool contemporary feel. Especially since ron de jambes are such small steps. it would not over take the hip-hop.

dancing is moving your body, making art in your own way
