Yes, I had a pair done. But they can only shorten them slightly as they would throw the shoe off balance and they would end up looking weird.

I dont think so. Ask a shoe repair shop. The heel is a certain height because the shoe is crafted in a certain shape, if you lower the heel, you may end up hurting your feet or legs. Sell em on ebay, make some cash and buy some new ones with a lower heel.

No because the arch of the boot is designed with the heel in mind. But you may be able to have the heel made bigger, giving you a wider base to step down with and feel like you are more stable.

No I don't think heels can be shortened. High heels just take some getting used to.

Generally, no. shortening the heels will place the soles at an odd angle causing your weight to shift away from your center of balance.

Don't think so because the heels would end up shorter than the soles and you would be leaning backwards. You could always take them to the shoe repairer and ask them.

Your toes will be pointing upwards. Sell them on ebay, and buy another pair.

Doubt it - they would look weird - like when you get shoes re-heeled, they look kind of lopsided.

Maybe you could take them to a shoe repair place and see if they could do it.
