in the computer which is connected to the hub;open the browser and go on to the address; 192.68.1.254;
click on advanced on the left bottom;
click on advanced option in the middle;
then click on switch to another user;
type in the username and password both as "admin"
then on home network ;
then on interfaced;
select wlan,then click on configure on top right;
on the page u will have the wep key;just delete that type in your own and save the changes;
the default format is(64 bit 10 digit hexadecimal key so use the same format or u also have the option to change to ascii)
u'll have to reconfigure the wireless n/w again with the new wep key;
so it is better to have the hub connected with a cable(ethernet or usb)while u make the changes

I have a Bt Voyager. From the one PC you should have drectly (i.e. not wrielessly) connected I have the URL that takes me to the Hubs software. Using my password I can alter the settings, including the encryption key.

Therefore the important things you need are 1. the url to the software, and 2 the password to get into the administartion of this.

From memory the BT Website was quite helpful.

Hope this helps (I'm not logged onto to my main PC, but I can find the url if you request this in your questions additional details as I suspect it will be the same for all the hubs)

well to start with you cannot that i know of change the wep key because the key is unique to the hub. you can change only whether to enable wep key or not, if you look in the booklet you got with the hub u should find something like 168.192.1.1 when you find it put it in the address bar, when it asks for user/password just type Admin upper case/lower case A whichever one works, go to internet setting security there you should see an option to enable/disable wep, personally i prefer to have it enabled it stopsother people using ur bandwidth up

if it'll do this, switch it from routing mode to bridging mode. that'll allow you to use the home hub as an access point. It's turning off the router portion so that a downstream router (your new router) can handle the routing. You may have to update the firmware. should be able to go to the manufacturer's website and get that and the instructions.
