Jees, what a question....a great one though. It's just so difficult to answer.
I'd definately go back to my school days; firstly to knuckle down and work harder so that i'd have a decent job now; secondly to get my mother to the doctors and save her life ( she died of a brain tumour when i was 20, and the doctor said it had lied there undetected for many, many years, and by the time it was discovered it was too late).
I'd definately go back to the times when i went out with crappy men so that i could avoid them.
And definately the late 40's early 50's.....a fantastic era......oh to meet Frank Sinatra and the rest of the Rat Pack.
The list could go on forever.......

This depends on a lot of things. For example, can I only observe, or can I change history? And if I do change history, can I make precisely the changes I want, or will I encounter an overwhelming butterfly effect?

I think going back to Jesus' crucification would be one interesting idea, just to prove the christians wrong once and for all. And it would be lots of fun just going around during medieval times and giving them all sorts of advanced technology, provided I could get back to my own history if I wanted. Assassinating Hitler or Stalin or George Bush would also be interesting options.

I would love to have been at the Brandenburger Gate on the night when the Berlin wall came down. There was so much anticipation, optimism, unspoilt joy, the sense of victory and freedom, the end of fear of an escalation of the cold war... I doubt that we will ever have the possibility again to witness such an uplifting event!

i would go to the time(dawn of time-before years were invented) when Adam & Eve were suppose to be alive-i would kill that dirty rotten snake who's been the cause of women kind's problems ever since and ask God to be more tough on causes of crime and criminals, as the government seems helpless to do so. I would ask him to have a mark of SWAG on all criminals forheads-so at least we would have a warning against ASBO dodgers!
