you can wash them, but dont use too much bleach. That will disinigrate the fabric a bit. Try white shoe polish after washing! That's how my mom used to keep her keds white in the 50's and those are canvas tennis shoes.

They sell shoe cleaner that is a foam you spray on the shoe and it also comes with a cover that has bristles, which helps to clean it.

clean the outside of youre shoe with water and if there still more dirt clean it more of it doesn't work buy water repellent and read the diretections

you might try a bleach pen if not that trying soaking them in bleach water for about an hr. if that doesn't work. get some white shoe polish .

use windex and a clean rag. make sure to let them dry before you wear them around because if not, they'll pick up dust and they'll look really bad, even after that scrubbing.
