Yup, and I have a railway station 'Platform Ticket' (full size) bought some time around 1963 and just has to be worth a fair sum now, considering it's in mint condition and that I think I paid about 2d for it - translates to abou 1/4 of a present 1p.
I might try an auction it on EBay, one day.
Sash.

Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch. is the longest single word (without hyphens) name in the world.
This Welsh town actually exists and its name translates as "The church of St. Mary in the hollow of white hazel trees near the rapid whirlpool by St. Tysilio's of the red cave".
For brevity, it is understandable that many of the locals simply refer to their village as "Llanfair"
