They didn't cancel it. Peter Jackson and WETA are still working on it. Fox and Universal pulled out but I'm sure that they will find a distributor. My guess is that it will be New Line.

Lol, I know. I was on IGN and they said everyone backed out of the production. WTF??? I am so dissapointed. Oh well. I suppose I can live through master cheif on halo 2. Very dissapointed.
