Steve I hope you are being sincere in this one. The Amish are wonderful people and they don't need to be made fun of right now. But yes most of the Amish do what is right and are not hypocrites.

No, their world is so restricted. They are so closed off from the outside world - that's why all the young people rebel. They're curious about the outside world and want to experience what we do. It's a nice place to visit, and the pictures look so nice, but it's not a good life in this day and age. The need to re-evaluate their doctrine.

Nope. The world is just fine the way it is. Now if we could have less violence (especially towards the innocent children) it would be even better. Got any suggestions for that?

They live their life with honor and simplicity, and I admire them. Even if we were all the same, the world would not get along. It's not human nature to be at peace unfortunately.

I don't think so. But I was impressed with their reaction to that school shooting, when they tried to help the killer's family through the grief process.
